Chilliapple, a web development agency in the UK are thrilled to announce a strategic partnership with easyCar, a popular car rental brand. This is a proud moment for us as we share this wonderful news with the public. 

easyCar contacted us to build a brand new front-end website for their business. They need 100% control over their digital presence while maintaining seamless functionality provided by their backend partner, CarTrawler.

Currently, CarTrawler operates and manages their website. However, this new venture will allow easyCar to gain full autonomy over its website content and UX. At chilliapple, we will tailor a bespoke WordPress website that will focus on enhancing user engagement and boosting UX. This will promote easyCar’s growth in the competitive car rental space.

However, this does not mark the end of their collaboration with CarTrawler. This company will continue to manage the search and booking functionalities of the platform. On the other hand, the new WordPress site will offer greater flexibility for easyCar, meaning they can easily showcase their brand identity and communicate directly with their customers.

In celebration of their new collaboration, Sophie (Commercial Director) and Jack (Project Executive) were recently invited by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, founder of the easyGroup, to Glin Castle in Ireland. This kick-off event provided the perfect setting to establish a shared vision for the project and a strong foundation for the partnership.
