Business Requirements
As One is an online retailer of mobile handsets and SIM providers, and a key part of their business is their support of UK Mental Health through their partnership with Shout, because each purchase made through As One helps provide a vital service in improving mental health and anxiety. Every mobile handset is responsibly recycled, helping to extend the life of devices, and enabling affordable prices to everyone.
The client approached chilliapple with an initial brief of Phase 1 tasks to undertake on their WordPress site. This included a retheme of the website, integrating Credit Safe and Transatel via APIs, and enabling a dynamic PDF to include the specific order details per customer. As we progressed through these initial development tasks, the client added some new homepage adjustments to be included into this initial phase of work, as well as a domain change for increased consistency in their brand. By working closely with their Account Manager and our specialist WordPress developers, we successfully compiled the Phase 1 scope of work and then progressed through each task using mockups to be approved by the client at each stage, and important feedback loops to ensure work stayed in line with client expectations.
The Results
As One has successfully undergone a retheme to maintain consistency with their brand. With a brand new domain, www.as.one, customers can now feel secure they are in the right place. As Phase 1 ended, we were delighted to begin conversations with the client regarding ongoing support and Phase 2 of work to undertake.
