Dalebrook Supplies is an award-winning leader in the design and manufacture of melamine food display solutions, selling to over 70 countries. Having been an established business since 1945, its experience allows the business to continue to develop its product range by introducing new styles, ranges, shapes and finishes while ensuring the quality of items is paramount.
Dalebrook offers services to B2B and B2C customers, and its products are used in food service, retail and merchandise sectors and clients range from hotels to contract caterers, from supermarkets to fine dining.
Dalebrook was looking for a solution to simplify the online user journey and display more visually engaging content for users, which is why it came to chilliapple.
Our solution
Dalebrook’s website was out-of-date and had a user experience that was complicated and unappealing. chilliapple recommended upgrading the site to the latest version of Magento along with all its third-party plugins. chilliapple also suggested implementing a new theme design to give the website a new look that streamlined the user journey.
The client chose the WeltPixel Pearl theme which we customised to suit the Dalebrook brand identity. With weekly design calls with our project manager and Magento 2 developers, and constant communication to map out the site layout, we delivered a new, better version of Dalebrook Supplies online.
The result
The site now feels much more simplistic and inviting for users to navigate to the products they want. The images are larger with more space to allow the site design to ‘breathe’ and users to enjoy the experience of searching and buying. Since finishing this project successfully on time, on spec and on budget, Dalebrook has onboarded onto our Silver Support Package, where we keep the site up-to-date and secure, and suggest new features and functionality to enhance the user experience.
